The Facebook, TikTok and Instagram page of Temenos Psychotherapy are designed to provide valuable insight, provide mental health resources, and updates about Temenos Psychotherapy as a psychotherapy practice. The aim is to foster a supportive and inclusive online community where the wider community can engage.

2. Client Privacy and Confidentiality

The confidentiality and privacy of clients is of utmost priority. Please know that following, liking and commenting publicly on the social media pages for Temenos Psychotherapy can risk breaching client confidentiality.

3. Client Testimonials and Feedback

Client feedback and testimonials are well appreciated and can positively contribute to the practice. However, explicit written consent from clients will always be seeked before sharing any testimonials, reviews or success stories on the practices' social media platforms.

5. Mental Health Information

Our social media posts are designed to provide general mental health information and inspiration. They should not be considered a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice. It is encouraged to seek personalised therapeutic support. A booking can be made here.

6. Respectful Communication

Open and respectful communication is valued on our social media platforms. We will not tolerate any form of harassment, offensive language, or discrimination from users. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate comments and block users who violate these guidelines.

7. Client Interactions

We kindly request that clients do not attempt to communicate with their therapist through public posts or direct messages on social media. For any questions, concerns, or appointment inquiries, clients are encouraged to use our official contact information provided on our website.

8. Social Media Updates

We strive to maintain regular updates on our Facebook, TikTok and Instagram pages. However, please understand that the primary focus remains on providing a quality therapeutic services to clients. Therefore, there may be times when our social media presence may vary.

9. Ethical Content Sharing

When sharing content from other sources, we will always credit the original creators and comply with copyright laws and ethical guidelines. We expect the same level of respect from our followers when sharing our original content.

Code of Conduct

I pride myself on working within the guidelines of the GANZ code of ethics:

  • Honouring the trusting the integrity of the client therapist relationship

  • Recognition of and respect for cultural, religious and sexual diversity among people and opposing discrimination, oppressive and other unjust behaviours.

Applying the code of ethics not only applies to my work, but to my everyday values. My personal ethics include working in a way that holds, honesty & authenticity, kindness and compassion to all beings and integrity.
